East Hants needs an experienced community leader to maximize our strengths in all the communities in the district.
East Hants has serious health access issues, senior's care and doctor shortages that worry many residents every day.
In education, we have two of the oldest high schools in Nova Scotia while residents of East Hants watch announcements for new schools happen all around us!
Our dedicated teachers and deserving students should not be disadvantaged.
I want to put my business experience, over twenty years of running my own small business in the very competitive IT sector, to work for all of East Hants. I will be a strong advocate from day one.
I have been honored to serve nine years on municipal council, listening to local issues from all of East Hants. I will bring immediate knowledge of East Hants issues to the provincial government. I know the community and business leaders in East Hants.
Aug 2021 Elected as MLA for Hants East. A Member of Public Accounts Committee, Human Resources Committee, Chair of Health Committee and Private and Local Bills.
Sept 2022, added role as Government Whip.
Nov 26, 2024 Re-elected as MLA for Hants East.
Dec 10, 2024 MLAs were sworn in.
Dec 13, 2024 became the Caucus Chair for the NSPC Caucus.
Dec 13, 2024 Chair of Health committee and a member of Treasury and Policy Board.
